In the other tab I have seen that the image gets added within 20-30 sec. But you probably made the generation time to 1 min to tackle server load.

What I propose is an alternative solution.

Make the limit: 250 / day but at 30 sec / generation

Instead of 15 / hour which is 24 * 15 = 360 requests / day.

Which saves you 110 requests / day / user.

spicy admin: Another option is to make generation time 30 sec, while showing a 30 sec ad.

The problem is the seconds timer is not interactive. You can load some of the related tags feed while generation to pass the time at least.

AI Droid: no one stays up all 24 hours and does 15 renders from each hour, most do it for 10-12 hours and in an average rate only 5-6 hours are used. which indicates most people use less than 150/day. if you provide 250 / day without any time limit. users may generate 40-80 renders in just one hour which would infact increase the server load and not decrease it.

Captain America: Agree I was trying to convince the admin without losing much usage.

Also there is already a high load check which will check number of requests and blocks extra with message "High load..."
